An ultra-high-net-worth family is seeking an experienced and dedicated Domestic Couple to join their beautiful private estate in Scotland.

This is a rare long-term opportunity. The previous couple remained in the role for nine years and are only leaving due to health-related retirement, creating an exceptional opportunity for the right candidates.

The family primarily uses the estate as their weekend and holiday residence, meaning the property is unoccupied for significant periods throughout the year. The successful couple will play a key role in ensuring the estate remains maintained to the highest standard and is always prepared for the family’s arrival.

About the Estate

• Approximately 180 acres of private grounds

• Beautiful six-bedroom country residence

• Woodland, formal gardens and open grazing fields

• Four family dogs

• Two horses

• Free-range chickens

• Sheep grazing in surrounding fields

Professional estate team already in place including:

• Two full-time gardeners

• One handyman

• One full-time housekeeper

Duties – Housekeeping Partner

• Assisting the Housekeeper with maintaining the family home to an exceptional standard

• Laundry and light ironing when required

• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals when the family is staying at the estate

• Helping ensure the property is always guest-ready

• Assisting during family visits and occasional entertaining

Duties – Maintenance Partner

• Daily care of the family’s four dogs

• Assisting with feeding and general welfare of the horses, chickens and other estate animals

• Supporting the gardening team with seasonal outdoor tasks

• General estate maintenance and presentation

• Liaising with the estate team when required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working together as a Domestic Couple on a private estate or within a private household

• Confident working around horses, dogs and small livestock

• Genuine love of animals and countryside living

• Excellent communication skills

• High level of discretion and professionalism

• Physically fit and happy working outdoors

• Full UK driving licence is essential for both candidates

• Strong references from previous employers

Salary

£70,000–£75,000 per year (combined salary)

Salary offered will depend on experience and previous private household background.
